I love this app and have been using it for years. Just got back on recently to the new format, Wich is pretty good so far, but am very frustrated to see all of my custom creatures have been deleted during the update. Hours lost. Is it possible to recover?
An excellent tracker and info app for the DM, I use it nearly every session.
Is the app developer still working on this. It's the best tracker I've seen. It's easy to see key info in combat and is easy on the eyes. The last update appears to have been last march. Edit: the new update is great! Keep up the good work!
It is a really great tracker, though it is missing some of the basic monster manual monsters. The orc warchief, orc eye of gruumsh, and orog just to name a few. I tried to find the missing monsters can't seem to find a file that would fill in the blanks. Would give it a perfect 5 if the missing monsters were added.
Great app and super useful! For some reason though, the search function for the monsters no longer works.
Looks great, bought the paid app for custom content. Downloaded the books from Github and had to search to find the import function. I can't wait to use it. Looking forward to more updates.
Great app, only thing I don't see a way to add health to a monster or PC. Am I missing this or is this not a feature yet?
I want to like this but the user experience can be infuriating. Please research proper Android development principles. For example, the back button shouldn't drop me out of your app from the Encounters view (I'm just trying to go home in the app!) Also, use the numpad input method for things like skill points and modifiers when customizing monsters. Also, you don't allow just Human custom enemies because the user can't choose "none" on type. Also, you have neutral evil alignment listed twice in monster creation... Etc... Etc... Base idea is good but the customization needs some TLC.
By far the best user interface in any RPG app I've tried. Miles ahead of anything else. You make a party (3 minutes). You make an adventure (15 seconds). You make encounters and tie them to an adventure. You tie your party to encounters. (2 -3 minutes per) The app rates the difficulty of the encounter based on the levels of the party, so it's also crazy easy to tune an encounter on the fly if your party has had it too easy or too rough. Apply your imagination and you are off and running on a free form campaign in less than 10 minutes. No kidding, I had 2 sessions worth of encounters done in about 20 minutes my first time using the app. This used to be the thing that took me hours of prep time in tuning and logging. God forbid I had to adjust on the fly. Now it's the easiest part of prepping for my party. Cannot wait to see what the dev offers as updates in the future. EASILY worth a buck fiddy. I'd probably pay double that without batting an eye for how easy this has made encounter generation and balancing.
FANTASTIC does what it says and wasn't difficult to figure out
